Cung Le: The Morning After

Cung Le went to twitter to send his fans a message.

Here is a picture of my face you wanted to see. I felt great till I got caught. Thanks @ufc fans for the nice messages.

The picture tells the story. Last night in the UFC 139 co-main event, Wanderlei Silva and Cung Le went to war. The fight wasn’t relevant in terms of the middleweight division, but it was one for the fans to cheer for. We read so many tweets yesterday that read “Oh my god Sandstorm” or “War Wandy”, it’s amazing how much respect both these fighters have. Silva almost instantly looked to have changed up his game plan, until the end of the second round when he caught Le and started to swarm.  At about the 4:49 of the round “Wandy” was pulled off of the San Shou master.

People will say Wandy is back, well it’s true he was back last night. Lets see what the Dana White and Joe Silva have next for The Axe Murderer.
