Daniel Cormier has message for Jon Jones

In the main event at UFC 187, Daniel Cormier won the vacant light heavyweight championship, after beating Anthony Johnson with a third round rear-naked choke submission.

In his post-fight speech he made it quite simple — stating, “Jon Jones — get your shit together, I’m waiting for you.”

Cormier has fought Jones before. In fact, he was his last opponent and only loss. At UFC 182 in January, DC earned the right to face the 205-pound kingpin, but Jones proved his worth and earned the unanimous decision, beating Cormier from bell to bell.

There is definitely unfinished business, as Cormier earned the light heavyweight gold, after Jones was stripped of his title late last month.

UFC President Dana White made it clear that Jones would earn an immediate title shot upon returning to the Octagon, so it looks like Cormier will get his wish, the question is — when?
