A welterweight showdown has been set for Titan FC 28 on April 25 — Daniel Roberts vs. Brock Jardine.
Titan FC officials announced the match-up on Friday morning.
Roberts (14-5) is coming off a very close split decision loss to Justin Baesman at WAR MMA 1 last June. “Ninja” was undefeated at 9-0 when the UFC signed him and he went 3-4 inside the Octagon. Following his UFC release he has gone 2-1, with victories over Nuri Shakir and UFC vet Brian Foster.
Jardine (9-3) was on a 9-1 run when he was picked up by the UFC. However, he fell short in both of his appearances inside the Octagon losing to Rick Story at UFC on FX 4 and Kenny Robertson at UFC 157. The 28-year old will look to get his career back on track with Titan FC after being out of action for more than one year.
Titan FC 28 will go down on April 25 and the venue for the event is expected to be released in the coming days.
Also scheduled for the Titan FC 28 fight card is Mike Ricci vs. George Sotiropoulous, Vinny Magalhaes vs. Jason Brilz and Dave Hermanvs. D.J. Linderman.
The Titan FC 28 main card will air on CBS Sports Network, with prelims airing on the Titan FC website.
