Darren Till will have to wait even longer to snap his two-fight skid as he has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled UFC London co-main event. The news was first reported by ESPN’s Marc Raimondi.
This marks the third time that Till has had to withdraw from a fight since his move to middleweight. He had to withdraw from a previous bout with Jack Hermansson in December 2020, he withdrew from a scheduled April 2021 bout with Marvin Vettori and now has had to withdraw from his scheduled bout in London.

Re-Shaped Co-Main Event
Shortly after it was confirmed that Till wouldn’t be making the walk in London, the UFC confirmed that Chris Curtis will be stepping in to face Jack Hermansson at the O2 arena. Curtis is enjoying a good run of form as of late. The 34-year-old is undefeated in his last eight outings, winning his three most recent UFC outings. These include finish victories over Phil Hawes and Brendan Allen and a decision victory just two weeks ago against BJJ phenom, Rodolfo Vieira.

Jack Hermansson will be looking to end the winning run of Curtis and in-turn look to bounce back following a split decision loss to Sean Strickland in February. He’s fallen slightly out of form as of late, going 2-3 in his last five having won four straight prior to this. He has, however, notched an impressive 17 finishes in 22 victories throughout his MMA career.
UFC London
UFC London will be headlined by in-form British heavyweight, Tom Aspinall, who will be facing the toughest test of his career when he clashes with Curtis Blaydes. Aspinall headlined the O2 arena in March in a dominant fashion against Alexander Volkov, extending his winning run to eight, of which five have been in the UFC and all have been via finish.
Blaydes is looking to extend his winning run to three having knocked out Chris Daukaus in March and dominated Jairzinho Rozenstruik in September of last year. He’s won 10 of his last 12 bouts and is seen as one of the most dangerous men in the division.
Fan favourites PaddyPimblett, Molly McCann and Paul Craig as well as the up-and-coming Muhammad Mokaev all return to London. Nathaniel Wood will make his featherweight debut and three-time title challenger, Alexander Gustaffson will return after two years away from the sport.
