Dong Hyun Kim stuns Siyar Bahadurzada en route to a unanimous decision

A battle in the UFC’s welterweight division started off the UFC on FUEL TV 8 main card and fans were treated to a dominant one sided performance, as Dong Hyun Kim man handled Siyar Bahadurzada for three full rounds.

It didn’t take long for Kim to realize that the takedowns and ground game would be the difference maker in this fight against Bahadurzada. Early in the first Kim got a fierce double leg takedown which ultimately changed the way Bahadurzada had to deal with the fight.

“Stun Gun” controlled all facets of the Octagon en route to the judges scorecards. He took the fight to the ground every chance he could and secured dominant positions. In the first round referee Herb Dean told Kim to stay active while on top and he definitely did so for the remainder of the fight; even looked for numerous submissions.
