DWCS 81 Weigh-In Results: One Contestant Exceeds Maximum at Scales

DWCS 81 is almost here. Tuesday night, the September schedule in combat sports continues in Enterprise, NV at the UFC Apex facility for the fifth week of Contender Series ninth season.

Live coverage of tomorrow’s event begins at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on ESPN+ in the United States. Earlier this morning, the fighters tipped the scales at the hotel for the weigh-in window. There was, however, one hiccup on the scales today.

Freddy Vidal Comes in 4 lbs Over Maximum For Fight at DWCS 81 Weigh-Ins

While all five fights on tomorrow’s card will take place as originally advertised, the light heavyweight contest between Felipe Franco (204 lbs) and Freddy Vidal (210 lbs) saw the latter contestant exceed the nontitle maximum of 206 lbs by 4 lbs. Franco came in 2 lbs under the maximum.
