DWCS 83 Results: Fall Slate Begins with Thrilling Tuesday Night of Action

DWCS 83 is here! Tonight, the fall schedule in MMA begins in Enterprise, NV. As is customary this time of year, the Octagon inside the UFC Apex will be abuzz with activity on a Tuesday night.


Live coverage begins tonight at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on ESPN+ inside the United States of America. Internationally, DWCS 83 will be shown via UFC Fight Pass.

After a successful weigh-in window yesterday morning, the five-fight itinerary for tonight’s card will go ahead as scheduled. All 10 contestants vying for a UFC contract on DWCS 83 weighed-in well within the three-hour allotment on Monday.

Dana White will be in attendance at DWCS 83 tomorrow.

DWCS 83 Main Event

At the top of the bill tonight at the UFC Apex, the middleweights take to the cage when Dani Barbir (7-0, 1 NC MMA) meets Mantas Kondratavicius (7-1 MMA.) All fights tonight are an advertised maximum of three rounds at five minutes per round, main event included.

DWCS 83 Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, you’ll see featherweight action between PFL alumnus Brahyan Zurcher (9-0 MMA) and Murtazali Magomedov (9-0 MMA.) Someone will be knocked from the undefeated ranks after the co-main event of the evening.

Also tonight on DWCS 83 is a women’s flyweight fight between Sofia Montenegro (6-1 MMA) and Jeisla Chaves (5-0 MMA,) a featherweight contest matching Javier Reyes (21-5 MMA) with Justice Torres (12-3 MMA,) and a light heavyweight fixture pairing Rafael Tobias (13-1 MMA) against Jair de Oliveira

Jeisla Chaves def. Sofia Montenegro by Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28.) Both fighters awarded UFC contracts.

Javier Reyes def. Justice Torres by TKO (Punches Followed by Knees) at 2:32 into Round 1. Reyes awarded UFC contract.

Rafael Tobias def. Jair de Oliveira by Verbal Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:46 into Round 1. Tobias awarded UFC contract.
