First episode of “Sports Illustrated” magazine show debuts tonight on NBC

NBC Sports will debut a new show this evening entitled “Sports Illustrated,” which is based on the popular sports magazine.

The first episode which will air Tuesday night at 6pm PT/9pm ET, features a segment on MMA. More specifically on the fighters and coaches at Jackson/Winkeljohn gym in Albuquerque, N.M.

Included in the episode are Clay Guida, Tim Kennedy, Julie Kedzie, Keith Jardine, Cub Swanson, Josh Ferguson, Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn.

The show will air on NBC and NBC Sports channels and will feature original reporting and commentary from the folks at Sports Illustrated.
