David Onama crushes Robison with right hook to win the belt- UFC next?

Robison opened the rounds firing calf kicks at the Ugandan as Onama looked for openings. As Onama started checking the kicks, he found his distance and blasted Robison with a wicked right hook, dropping him against the cage. The end was moments away, as the Onama unleashed punches to win the FAC lightweight belt.

After the fight, Onama used his post-fight interview to call for a shot in the UFC, as the crowd started chanting “UFC”.

Undefeated heavyweight Nyle Bartling quick sub against Gutierrez

Nyle Bartling made it 5-0 with a dominating first round submission over Cesar Gutierrez. After getting Gutierrez to the mat, Nyle briefly rained down punches from the crucifix position before Gutierrez rolled and gave Bartling his back. Bartling quickly locked in the hooks and got the quick tap.

Steven Graham and Jacob Thrall throw down for three rounds, Graham Inches By

Thrall began the fight by picking Graham up and slamming him to the mat, trying to land huge strikes from the top. The veteran Graham stayed calm and built back up against the cage, eventually settling to top position after a failed guillotine from Thrall. Graham locked in his own guillotine for a solid minute, turning Thrall’s face deep red. Back on the feet, Graham scored with left hooks and combinations before attempting another guillotine to close the manic first round.

In round 2, Thrall was able to keep Graham at range with overhand rights. Halfway through the round, Thrall look to have tired as Graham easily took the back and working toward in a rear naked choke. While Thrall was able to stand, Graham kept pressing and throwing knees and elbows against the cage.

The third round saw more of the same, with Graham dropping for another guillotine. Thrall survived again but was too exhausted to land much offense from the top. Both winded fighters clinched for the majority of the round, until Thrall separated for a moment to throw heavy punches before the bell. The close fight went down to the judges, with Graham squeaking by with a split call.

England makes Paige tap to strikes

Mikey England shot straight for the takedown at the start of round 1, working his way to mount to land some brutal punches and crushing elbows. Turtled up with a look of desperation, Tyrone Paige tapped to strikes halfway through the opening round.

Wagman endures Seff’s submission attempts to earn unanimous nod

Elle came out aggressive with heavy punches, prompting Seff to pull guard. The BJJ brown belt Seff was able to lock in a deep armbar from the bottom. Wagman was slowly able to shift her position around to escape the submission, eventually bringing the fight back to the feet. 

Wagman was able to continue scoring with punches in the second round, countering with overhand rights and defending Seff’s takedown attempts. Wagman then drug Seff to the ground in front of her corner and significant other, Grant Dawson, receiving instruction but unable to land much offense before the bell.

In the third round, Wagman again took Seff to the ground. After a stalemate, Seff attempted a toe hold that resulted in Wagman calling the fight back to the feet. A flying knee that landed flush by Wagman appeared to be the most significant strike of the fight, and two kept trading until the final bell. Elle Wagman took the fight on all three judges scorecards.

Kemp blows through Lindsey to reach 4-0

Marshal Kemp didn’t need much time to claim his fourth win in as many fights with a first round rear naked choke of Rome Lindsey. Kemp took the fight to mat immediately, taking the back of Lindsey. From there, he softened his opponent up with punches before Lindsey posted on his hands, giving Kemp the opportunity to sink in the choke and get the tap.

Gauge Young wins MMA rematch against Cliff Wright

In the opening fight of the night, Gauge Young made quick work of Cliff Wright with an arm triangle choke in the first round. Wright and Young have an 18 year age difference, and competed in kickboxing against each other recently. Young moves to 3-0 with the win.

FAC 11 will take place on December 10th in Independence, Missouri, featuring a battle of UFC vets as Chance Recountre fights Jake Lindsey.
