  1. URCC is not a good representation of what a MMA production should be in the Philippines.

First off the fight was suppose to start at 8pm, it did not kick off it’ll 9:15. I got to the event at 7:30 expecting the first fight to start at 8pm. I had to sit around for another 1:15 minutes for the first fight started!!! URCC is suppose to be my pre game before going out! Not my whole night!

I watched the 5 fights before I left, at 11:45pm, halfway through the card!!! I didn’t even get to see the main fights! And from what I have heard a lot of people left around 12 midnight. The first 3 fights went the distance, 2 full 10 minutes rounds of men lying on top of another. Man did those fights drag on… THEY WERE BORING!!! The fighters have no conditioning to be able to scrap for 10 minutes straight, maybe the Lakay fighters because they train hard at high altitude.

Also my back started to hurt. URCC, do you really expect me to pay 500 pesos to sit on a Bench with no back support from 7:30pm till 1am?!? Hell no. I’ll never go to another URCC fight.

No wonder why the rest of Asia has caught up to the Philippines, Again! URCC has kept the fighters from improving and has used the fighters to make a quick buck. A quick tip to those fighters who want to fight in the URCC, Condition Condition Condition. If you can last the first 10 minutes and be able to follow a plan into the 2nd round, you will win.
