Frank Mir Predicts Brock Lesnar Will “Easily” Beat Alistair Overeem

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir spoke with ESPN.com earlier this week and made his prediction for the upcoming Heavyweight clash between Brock Lesnar and Alistair Overeem. His prediction may surprise some; he not only believes his former foe Lesnar will beat Overeem, he believes he will beat him “pretty easily”.

Honestly, I think Brock will win pretty easily. I think we’re going to see the closest thing to a grappler versus striker match you’ll see nowadays. Brock is going to cover up; maybe throw one jab. He’ll rush Overeem to the cage, reach down for a leg and rip him down. … I don’t think he’s going to get off his back. I’d be very shocked — I’d applaud Overeem if he got off his back

The fight between Lesnar and Overeem will take place on December 30 at UFC 141 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Do you think Brock has a chance against Alistair? Will Brock be able to survive the powerful K1 power of Alistair?
