Invicta FC adds Cassie Crisano; re-signs Amanda Bell

Invicta FC continues to bolster their roster with talent. On Thursday the organization re-signed featherweight Amanda Bell and added Bantamweight Cassie Crisano.

MMASucka.com learned of the signings from Jason Ellis of MMA United Sports Entertainment group.

Crisano (2-2) is coming off a disqualification loss to Beatriz Zambonini at Ring of Fire Brazil 9 in May. Prior to that loss she won two-in-a-row against AnaPaula Oliveira and Glauciele Silva. When “Evil Angel” fights with Invicta FC it will be her first taste of cage time on American soil.

nvicta FC adds Cassie Crisano; re-signs Amanda Bell

“Invicta Fighting Championships is not only one of the best MMA organizations in the world, but what they’ve done for women in the sport is unparalleled,” Crisano told MMASucka.com. “I’m extremely honored to be added to the IFC roster of athletes and will be sure to provide my fans with a show not soon to be forgotten.”

“I’ve been working extremely hard over the past 5 years to perfect my craft and become the best fighter I can be,” Crisano continued. “It’s been such an interesting journey with so many ups and downs, but now that I have my shot, I’ll be sure o make the best of it. Mark my words, the evil angel will make her presence felt in the IFC.”

Bell (2-2) started off her professional career with two straight losses, however has stepped up her game and is currently riding a two-fight winning streak. In April of this year she tapped out Brittney Elkin with a second round rear-naked choke and most recently knocked out Ronda Rousey’s training partner Marina Shafir earlier this month.

“Simply put, I feel as if I’m finally going home after a long journey away; and in my heart I know InvictaFC is where I belong. My deepest desire has always been to fight the best women of this sport on a stage that we all can call home,” Bell said to MMASucka.com. “Being part of the organization Invicta Fighting Championships is a glorious opportunity that so many other female fighters are trying to gain and I am beyond grateful to know that I am here to stay. My ultimate  goal as a fighter is, and always will be, to rise to the top of my division and become the face of InvictaFC so as to help promote and expose this great alliance. I want to play a part in building a strong foundation for the next generation of female fighters, so they too will be able to experience what I have .”

No word as to when Bell and Crisano will make their Invicta FC debuts.
