Jack Hermansson Won’t be “Happy” Unless he Finishes Darren Till

In this week’s interview at Chaos MMA, we had on Jack Hermansson. Hermansson is a Swedish-Norwegian professional mixed martial artist, who competes in the Middleweight division of the UFC. He is currently ranked 4th in the Middleweight division after coming off a 2nd round submission victory over now 8th ranked middleweight contender Kelvin Gastelum. The Joker has an impressive record of 21-5-0 and stands at 6’ 1”. Hermansson is 32 years of age and is currently training at the Frontline Academy in Brighton Colorado.

Hermansson just recently signed a contract for a fight with Darren Till. That fight will headline UFC Fight Night on December 5, 2020. Before joining the UFC, The Joker was The middleweight champion in Cage Warriors (CWFC). He had three championship fights with 2 of them coming by KO/TKO and one by submission. Jack “The Joker” Hermansson is hoping to get a title shot in the UFC and become champion of the middleweight division once again. He talks more about his MMA journey in the interview below.

In the interview with Hermansson, we talked about many things including his upcoming fight against Darren Till. We asked him how he thinks he matches up with Darren Till. His response was, “I think I matchup great because I think I’m the more well-rounded fighter out of us. I believe I have the upper hand in wrestling and I feel like I can challenge him on the feet as well. Stylistically, it’s a great fight for me”. He feels very confident ahead of this fight and when we asked him how he sees the fight playing out, his response was simple. “I won’t be happy with anything other than a finish. I really wanna make a mark for myself now. I’m so close to a title shot now. I want people to take notice”.

Jack Hermansson, what’s next?

Jack Hermansson is very close to a title shot and with a victory over Darren Till, he could be next in line for one. After that, we asked him if he beats Darren Till, does he think he will get the next title shot. This was his response, “It’s a big chance that I could be next. But of course, the winner of Whittaker vs Cannonier could be next. It’s a big possibility I need one more fight as well, but I’m close as well. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out and who gets the UFC title shot next.

Jack Hermansson has a youtube channel and he puts things like his weight cut during fight week on it as well as a host of other stuff. It’s very interesting and you can check his youtube channel out at Jack Hermansson! It was great interviewing Jack Hermansson and we can’t wait for his fight December 5th against Darren Till!
