Jeremy Kennedy (19-7, 1NC) reigned over the BFL cage until 2016 when the UFC signed him. The 32-year-old went 3-1 inside the Octagon, with his lone loss to one of the pound-for-pound best featherweights, Alexander Vokanovski. He then decided to take his fighting skills to Brave CF for two fights before signing with the PFL. He went 2-1, 1NC in that tenure with the PFL and then signed with Bellator, where he went 4-2.

After a third-round loss for the title at Bellator Champion Series to Patricio Pitbull, Kennedy returned to the PFL, where he lost three very close decisions. After his last loss, he decided to move to 155 pounds.

This will be Jeremy Kennedy’s first fight in front of his hometown crowd in nearly 10 years.

Henry (8-7) fights out of Atlanta, Georgia and will make his second appearance inside the BFL cage.

In January of this year, at BFL 82, the 31-year-old lost a decision to Navid Zanganeh. Following that loss, Henry defeated Khama Worthy by first-round stoppage at 247 FC: Brawl in the Burgh 27.

The American fought in June and July, losing a decision at LFA 210 and most recently by first-round submission at LFA 213 against Isaac Thomson.

This fight will serve as the evening’s main event on the BFL 84 fight card and will air live on UFC Fight Pass.

BFL 84 goes down on September 4 from the Harbour Events and Convention Center in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.

Other notable fights on the card are Ali Wasuk vs. Aso Palani, Dario Sinagoga vs. Jayden Martin, Josh Kwiatkowski vs. Teshay Guthro and many more.

The main card will air on UFC Fight Pass, with the preliminary portion of the card on the BFL YouTube page.
