Going in to the fight, Fabricio Camões was considered an elite BJJ practitioner and is coming off a loss to Melvin Guillard. Jim Miller has not fought since his no-contest bout against Pat Healy.

In the first round,  Camões was landing some solid shots in the stand-up and was getting the best of Miller. The fight continued in this fashion until they hit the mat. Miller was surprisingly able to get the best of  Camões on the ground and looked for the submission almost immediately.

Miller was able to get the armbar submission win over the Brazilian at 3:42 of the first round.
