Jon Fitch vs. Johny Hendricks Possible For UFC 141

It was February when we last saw Jon Fitch fight in the octagon. He fought BJ Penn to a draw at UFC 127 and was expected to fight him again in a rematch, but that bout did not happen due to his shoulder injury.

ESPN.com broke the news today that a possible welterweight showdown between Jon Fitch and Johny Hendricks would take place on December 30 at UFC 141.

Rumors were flying when BJ Penn’s opponent, Carlos Condit was moved to the Main Event of UFC 137 that Fitch would get that rematch, nope. It was then rumored that he would fight Matt Hughes when Diego Sanchez injured his hand in training, again nope.

This fight is expected to be on the main card of UFC 141 which will be headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Alistair Overeem.
