Jon Fitch Possible Return At UFC 139

Jon Fitch’s “Road To Recovery” mini-doc’s are now over, which means he is cleared to fight again. On Tuesday, Fitch announced via twitter, “I’m back! Dr. Kavitne gave me the OK to fight.”

The last time Fitch fought was against BJ Penn at UFC 127 in February. The two men fought to a draw and it was expected that they would fight again at UFC 132, but an injured Fitch could not take the fight. Fans thought that the two would then fight when Fitch returned, but that is not the case since Penn has a fight against Carlos Condit at UFC 137.

The UFC has not announced an opponent for Fitch, however MMAJunkie.com reported that multiple sources have said that he could possibly take on Johny Hendricks at UFC 139.
