Jose Aldo to possibly defend title at UFC 147 in Brazil

With news this morning about the UFC 147 title fight between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen being moved to UFC 148, the main event slot for UFC 147 is now empty.

UFC President Dana White stated that it is highly likely that Jose Aldo will now be defending his featherweight title in the main event of UFC 147 in his home country of Brazil.

“We talked about moving Jose down to this card here and it’s probably gonna happen.” said White.

The next question to be asked is who will be taking on the champ? Also, if he is put on the UFC 147 card, who will the main event at UFC 149 in Calgary be?
