Kade Ruotolo To Make MMA Debut, Liam Harrison Returns At ONE 167

ONE Championship is set for a huge night inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, June 7. While Stamp Fairtex headlines the night against Denice Zamboanga, two massive additions were made over the weekend. ONE 167 on Prime Video will light up U.S. primetime.

Prior to his 180-pound catchweight submission grappling match at ONE Fight Night 21, Kade Ruotolo’s MMA debut was scheduled. After securing a submission win, the Atos BJJ star can now focus solely on his MMA skill set. And he will not be gifted an easy opponent out of the gate.

Standing opposite Ruotolo will be Blake Cooper. The 27-year-old dropped his ONE debut last September, but that will only make him more driven to return in style against Ruotolo. Cooper will have a chance to erase the memory of that loss and notch a signature win over a growing martial arts superstar.

The lightweight MMA affair will certainly gain a lot of attention. The future of the sport could be seen with Ruotolo. However, in the other match revealed, fans will be graced by the presence of a fan-favorite grizzled veteran.

Liam “Hitman” Harrison will step back into battle in a bantamweight Muay Thai matchup. The Brit will square off against Katsuki Kitano. The Japanese striker will try to make it back-to-back wins on the global stage and pick up a pivotal win to make himself a title threat.

For Harrison, it is another chance to shine under the spotlight. The English striker has made it known he is winding down his career, so he will be sure to savor every second of his time in U.S. primetime on June 7. A highlight-reel win by either man could massively shift the outlook on the bantamweight division in 2024.

ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga airs live on Prime Video on Friday, June 7. The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The event will be free for all U.S. and Canadian Amazon Prime subscribers.
