Karate Combat 50 Results

Every so often in combat sports, you get one of those cards that’s a marquee event. Tonight is that night. Salt Lake City’s Salt Palace Convention Center is the site for Karate Combat 50.

Live coverage begins at 6:30 pm ET/ 3:30 pm PT on YouTube with the countdown show before moving onto the card itself at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT, simulcast on YouTube and UFC Fight Pass. All told, counting karate fights and Pit Submission (grappling) fights, 18 bouts will be held tonight, including Influencer Fight Club matches.

Main Event

At the top of the bill tonight is a welterweight affair between Omar Morales (13-4 combat sports, 2-0 Karate Combat) and Alejandro Brugal (2-0 combat sports, 2-0 Karate Combat). This is a three-round fight at three minutes per round to close the show.

Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the co-main event features bantamweight action between Arturo Vergara (5-2 combat sports, 2-0 Karate Combat) and Safar Akhmadov (5-2-2 combat sports, 1-1 Karate Combat). This is a three-round affair at three minutes per round.

Rest of the Card

Also on tonight’s main card, you’ll see a heavyweight contest between Artur Alibulatov (23-4 combat sports, Karate Combat debut) and Markus Perez (17-7 combat sports, 1-0 Karate Combat), a welterweight affair between Brandon Jenkins (19-12 combat sports, 2-1 Karate Combat) and Joe Giannetti (16-6-1 combat sports, Karate Combat debut), and a catchweight fight versing Aline Pereira (3-4 combat sports, Karate Combat debut) against Dee Begley (4-7 combat sports, Karate Combat debut.)
