Kevin Holland Announces Move to Welterweight

UFC middleweight Kevin Holland has been a tremendously active fighter since earning his roster spot on the Dana White Contender Series back in 2018. In just three years he has fought an astounding 12 times while compiling a record of 8-4. In 2020 alone he fought five times during a year that saw so many fighters struggle to get fights, he found them and won them. He would go 5-0 with four stoppages in 2020 which had him lined up for a big 2021 but unfortunately, that wouldn’t be the case.

According to his manager Oren Hodak of KO Reps, he told MMA Junkie that Holland has been dealing with several nagging injuries and received physical therapy for them while also discussing his diet.

It is the diet conversation that has him and his team eager for his next move that even comes with a sponsorship deal as he showed on Instagram.

Holland seems excited and the time off between his last fight, October 2nd, and his next one seems to be significant as his next fight which isn’t booked may do him all the better.

The LFA and Bellator vet will look to continue his path that is further carving out a memorable career that has already seen him get wins over the likes of Anthony Hernandez, Ronaldo Souza, and even a win over current 12th ranked welterweight Geoff Neal.
