King Mo Tests Positive for Steroids After TKO Win Over Lorenz Larkin

The Nevada State Athletic Commission released today that Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal has tested positive for anabolic steroids (Drostanolone) following his TKO win over Lorenz Larkin at the Strikeforce: “Rockhold vs. Jardine” on January  7, 2012.

The rest of the fighters that were tested all passed with flying colors.

The drug that Lawal tested positive for, Drostanolone is very popular among competitive bodybuilders due to the fact that it is very effective for weight cutting.

The Strikeforce roster unfortunately takes another instant hit with Lawal testing positive and last month women’s champ Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos being suspended following her win over Hiroko Yamanaka for testing positive for Stanozolol.

The NSAC did not release what disciplines he will face, but he does have the rights to appeal the results.
