The 11th installment of Legend Fighting Championship went down this past Saturday, April 27th, for its first event of 2013, with a staggering fight card that featured 3 title tilts. Making its debut in a new territory, Legend FC 11 took place at the Chin Woo Stadium situated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
New champions were crowned across multiple weight divisions and along with other stellar bouts, Legend Fighting Championship delivered yet another night of fast-paced and exciting Mixed Martial Arts action.
Koji Ando garnered the Lightweight strap after gaining a TKO stoppage victory over Jadamba Narantungalag in the 3rd stanza. In the Bantamweight Championship bout, Ji Xian brushed Filipino Augustin Delarmino Jr. aside with a dominant performance. Although the latter fighter’s heart was in display, it didn’t matter as an Armbar in the 1st round, from Ji Xian, was all she wrote for Delarmino. With that, Ji Xian was crowned the new Legend FC 135-lbs champion.
A slick Guillotine Choke in the 3rd stanza was all Li Jingliang needed to gain Legend FC’s Welterweight strap. It was well deserved for Li, who looked threatening throughout the fight and more active in trying to gain a stoppage win.
