Luke Rockhold vs Chris Weidman II set for UFC 199

UFC President Dana White made the announcement on FOX Sports’ “Garbage Time” Tuesday evening.

Rockhold (15-2) made his Octagon debut at UFC on FX 8 and lost to Vitor Belfort. Since that blemish, Rockhold has won five-in-a-row including his UFC 194 dethroning of Weidman.

Weidman (13-1) lost for the very first time at UFC 194. He shocked the world when he defeated Anderson Silva by knockout at UFC 162 and went on to once again beat Silva in the rematch at UFC 168. “The All American” won his next two outings against Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort before losing to Rockhold.

UFC 199 will go down in June.
