It was rumored that Landi-Jons would take on Riddle for the welterweight title, now the Brazilian will get his opportunity at gold.

Landi-Jons (28-15) has not fought since November of last year, when he finished Rodrigo Fernandez via TKO in the very first round at PFE /Samurai FC 10.  The 40-year old has been in the fight game officially since 1993, but plenty of his fights are not on his official record.

Saunders (16-6-2) has fought under the Bellator banner since 2011 and held a 7-3 record with them. He was able to make it to the welterweight tournament finals on two different occasions, but was knocked out both times by Douglas Lima. “Killa B” signed a multi-fight contract with Titan FC in April of this year.

The main card will begin at 10pm EST on the CBS Sports Network. Fans can view the preliminary bouts beginning at 9pm EST on the CBS Sports website, www.cbssports.com.

Titan FC 29 will take place on August 22 at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville NC.
