Two of British Columbia’s most exciting fighters will take to the BFL cage in a 180-pound catchweight bout, as Micah Brakefield takes on Ash Mashreghi.

The Brakefield vs. Mashreghi match-up will take place on the evening’s main card, just before the co-main event.

Brakefield (4-4) will look to bounce back from a first round TKO loss to Jared Revel at BFL 33 in November. Prior to that blemish, “Mitey” earned a first round submission victory against Jordan Beecroft at XFFC in October. All four of Brakefield’s victories come by way of submission.

Mashreghi (4-3) started off his professional career on a three fight losing skid, however since returning to the BFL cage in December 2013, he has won four-in-a-row. Most recently “Smash” rag-dolled Yannick Paré at BFL 33, eventually earning a 47-second rear-naked choke victory. Mashreghi has finished all four of his victories, three of which have come in the very first round.
