Miesha Tate ‘extremely disappointed’ to not get next title shot

UFC women’s bantamweight Miesha Tate is riding a four-fight winning streak and following her latest decision victory over Jessica Eye at UFC on FOX 16 on July 25, UFC President Dana White all but guaranteed “Cupcake” the next shot at Ronda Rousey’s title.

However, on Friday morning, Rousey took to Good Morning America to announce that her next opponent would be undefeated prospect Holly Holm.

Tate took to Instagram to give her opinion on the news and lets just say she wasn’t happy.

Tate (17-5) lost two in a row to Rousey prior to the four-fight winning streak which includes victories over Liz Carmouche, Rin Nakai, Sara McMann and the aforementioned Eye.
