Welterweight fighter Mike Rhodes is looking to return to fighting in the Octagon by the end of 2014.

Rhodes told MMASucka.com on Wednesday evening via Twitter.

He last fought at UFC Fight Night 43 in Auckland, New Zealand earlier this summer.  He lost via unanimous decision to Robert Whittaker.  Rhodes was scheduled to fight Paulo Thiago at UFC Fight Night 51 in Brazil this September, but was forced to pull out due to injury.  He was replaced by Joe Riggs.  UFC Fight Night 51 is headlined by Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva taking on Andrei Arlovski.

We will get more news as it comes.
