Miocic finishes Del Rosario in the second

The first round started out with both men swinging. The advantage went to Del Rosario at the end of round 1. However, as round 2 got under way Miocic seemed like he had more in the gas tank than Del Rosario. Miocic eventually ended up in the mount position and peppered down the punches until referee Yves Lavigne called a stoppage to the fight.

“It’s the UFC and every heavyweight fight is going to be a tough fight. Stipe was definitely the toughest opponent I’ve faced so far. It’s a wake up call for sure. I’m gonna get back in the gym, get back to work, and get ready for my next fight.”
