MMASucka Staff Picks PFL Africa 4 (2025): Bantamweights Collide In Thrilling Tournament Final

In what will be the company’s final outing to “The Cradle of Humankind,” PFL Africa 4 (2025) is set to showcase some of the continent’s top mixed martial arts prospects as the promotion’s African-based tournament comes to a head. In the main event, Nkosi Ndebele battles Boule Godogo for the bantamweight strap. In the second to last match of the evening, Shido Boris Esperança meets Yabna N’Tchala in their pursuit of PFL welterweight gold.

PFL Africa 4 (2025) Main Event

Coming off of two big wins in the 170-lb competition, Ndebele now finds himself on the cusp of realizing his first major championship. A former 135-lb standout in BRAVE CF, where he once held their bantamweight strap, “King” is more than eager to have gold back around his waist.

Looking to get back into the winner’s circle in dominant fashion after suffering the first loss of his professional career, Godogo reenters the PFL smart cage ready to reassert himself in his division. Representing the Democratic Republic Of Congo, the EFC veteran was originally slated to combat Thimna Mhlauli, but an injury withdrawal from the former allowed Godogo to fight for the championship.

PFL Africa 4 (2025) Co-Main Event

Boasting four stoppages in his last four contests, Boris Esperança has garnered a reputation in the organization as a top-tier finisher. With nine of his 11 wins as a professional coming inside the distance, PFL fans won’t want to miss “Machine”’s most high-profile tilt to date.

Undefeated since March 2024, N’Tchala has enjoyed a fruitful stint in the PFL since arriving in the promotion this year. Netting two victories in a row, “The Panther” is gearing up to pounce on his most dangerous opposition so far in the 170-lb tournament.

More Bouts On the PFL Africa 4 (2025) Main Card

Also on the main card, the PFL offers a diverse cast of rip-roaring bouts featuring fighters from all across Africa and beyond, including England’s Abraham Bably, Benin’s Jean Do Santos and Nigeria’s Cornel Thompson.

PFL Africa 4 (2025) Predictions and Staff Picks

MMASucka staff picks are composed of four of the world’s leading mixed martial arts organizations: the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the Professional Fighters League (PFL), ONE Championship (ONE FC), and Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS).

  • UFC picks will include main card fights ranging from four to six matchups per event.
  • PFL picks from main cards for pay-per-views and from tournament fights in the Regular Season, Playoffs, and Finals.
