Making their second trip to the Metropolis of Lyon in France, the PFL is set to conclude their exciting 2025 with their last major card of the year: the PFL Champions Series 4. In the main event, heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov defends his belt against the heavy-handed Renan Ferreira. In the penultimate match of the night, women’s mixed martial arts icon Cris Cyborg also seeks to retain her strap when she locks horns with Sara Collins.
PFL Champions Series 4 Main Event
Undefeated since 2016, Nemkov previously made a name for himself as the Bellator light heavyweight champion, notching stellar victories over Ryan Bader, Corey Anderson and Yoel Romero. Vacating his 205-lb throne to transition into a full-time heavyweight, the Russian has since logged two wins a row in the weight class in one-sided fights opposite Bruno Cappelozza and Timothy Johnson.
Competing in his first contest since October 2024, Ferreira is aiming for a monumental return to the winner’s circle. On the biggest stage the sport has to offer, the aptly nicknamed “Problema” can log a mammoth upset should he manage to turn away the surging Nemkov in spectacular fashion.
PFL Champions Series 4 Co-Main Event
Despite being 40 years of age, Cyborg remains one of the most dominant combat sports athletes on the planet, having not lost a contest since UFC 232 back in 2018. As the most active prolific women’s fighter in the sport right now, the Brazilian has trounced a bevy of elite competition such as Julia Budd, Cat Zingano and Larissa Pacheco.
With a perfect record of 6-0, Collins stands as a hot prospect in the female featherweight division. Vying for her first major world championship, the Australian is looking to shake up the company by bringing down the face of women’s mixed marital arts.
More Bouts On the PFL Champions Series 4 Main Card
Also on the main card, UFC veteran Taylor Lapilus battles Liam Gittins. Then, undefeated female competitors Paulina Wiśniewska and Sabrinna de Sousa face off. Also, African sensation Patrick Habirora comes to blows with hometown hero Kevin Jousset. Finally,
