UFC Fight Night 147 is headlined by an intriguing welterweight bout between Darren Till and Jorge Masvidal. Till is looking to bounce back from his first career loss, a submission loss to then-champion Tyron Woodley at UFC 228 in September. Masvidal, who we have not seen in the octagon for over 15 months. He is looking to break a two-fight skid, with losses to Stephen Thompson and Demian Maia. Till is looking to get back into the title picture, while Masvidal is looking to make a push towards the top five. The winner of this match could likely find themselves matched up UFC newcomer Ben Askren.

The co-main event of UFC Fight Night 147 is also a welterweight matchup between two ranked fighters. Leon Edwards will be taking on Gunnar Nelson in a fight with both guys looking to push into the top ten of the rankings. Edwards hasn’t fought since last June, when he beat Donald Cerrone via unanimous decision. Nelson just fought in December, when he submitted Alex Oliveira at UFC 231.

The rest of the main card fights, along with our picks for each fight, can be found below.

UFC Fight Night 147 Staff Picks

Throughout the year, staff picks will be composed of four different MMA promotions: UFCBellatorONE, and RIZIN. Main cards will make up both UFC and Bellator picks, while the biggest fights to make up ONE and RIZIN events will be used. The WINNER of staff picks will have a choice between receiving a championship belt from ProAmBelts or a championship chain from Championship Chains. The 2018 winner was awarded to Michael DeSantis, compiling a record of 202-101.
