Nate Diaz: “f–k the belt, I’m tryin’ to beat the number one guy in the world”

Even with the UFC 150 main event continuing to be controversial, UFC President Dana White has made it crystal clear that Nate Diaz will indeed be facing Benson Henderson for the lightweight title some time in the not so distant future.

The 209 bad boy made an appearance on AXS TV’s Inside MMA and told them that this fight isn’t just about winning the belt.

“I train with guys just like that. Athletic guys, strong guys. It’s definitely gonna be a good, hard fight. It’s time to fight for a title. I’m gonna do what I could to win that belt because that belt gives me … I’m tryin’ to do it for my team and f–k the belt, I’m tryin’ to beat the number one guy in the world and that’s him right now.”
