ROAD Fighting Championship launches a new monthly league, starts January 2014
ROAD FC will be hosting the events at the Grand Hilton Convention Centre, a venue that’s been defined as the “birthplace of ROAD FC’s numbered series”.
In this calendar year alone, the organization placed an equal emphasis on featuring foreign fighters to local South Korean fans, adding the likes of UFC vets Issei Tamura & Luis Ramos, former DREAM champ Joachim Hansen and PRIDE staple Theirry Sokoudjou among many others to its roster.
ROAD FC also laid down plans to head to Japan in 2014, once again underlining its intentions to be a dominant force in the Asian MMA scene.
And after securing a recent partnership with CJ E&M, South Korea’s largest media conglomerate, expansions on an international scale are on the horizon.
