Ryan Bader vs. Glover Teixiera reported for UFC on FS1 3

In another bout being set for the UFC’s return to Brazil in September, “Darth” has been penciled in to clash with the Brazilian destroyer.

Brazil’s Portal de Vale Tudo initially reported the bout earlier today.

Ryan Bader vs. Glover Teixiera reported for UFC on FS1 3

Ryan “Darth” Bader (15-3), the winner of the 8th season of the Ultimate Fighter, has always been on the fringes of the top 10. A strong wrestler with a powerful right hand, the Power MMA fighter is only ever a couple of wins away from being in the mix for a title shot. Will he be able to further his cause against Glover Teixiera?

Glover Teixiera (21-2) has proven himself to be nothing short of a Brazilian murder machine over the course of his current 19 fight winning streak. A knockout artist with strong submissions, Teixiera has been bringing fear to the hearts of the UFC’s light heavyweight division, with fighters like “Shogun” Rua turning down fights with him. Will he be able to remind people why with a victory over Bader?

UFC on FS1 3 goes down on September 4th at the Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Federal District, Brazil. No main event has officially been set yet, with only Jussier da Silva vs. Joseph Benavidez having been confirmed.
