On the preliminary portion of the UFC 169 fight card, Nick Catone took on a very game Tom Watson.
The fight was a back and forth battle with Catone earning the split decision victory. He was able to capitalize on a number of takedowns during the fight.

Even though he had his hand raised after the fight, he later revealed via his official Facebook page that he tore his ACL during the fight.
“Happy to get my hand raised tonight. Unfortunately I’m stuck in a terrible hospital right now in Newark with a torn ACL.”
Catone (10-4) snapped his two-fight losing skid with this UFC 169 victory.
