UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones was the first mixed martial artist to receive a global sponsorship by the giant that is Nike.
Ever since he donned the signature ‘Swoosh’ back at UFC 152 where he defeated Vitor Belfort, fans have questioned where they can buy the gear and when. Jones finally answered that question today via his Twitter account.

The signature shoes and shirts as mentioned will be available online at Nike.com, but according to Jones they will also be in select retail outlets.

There are other mixed martial artists who have been sponsored by Nike on a regional level, such as Anderson Silva and Junior dos Santos in Brazil and Caol Uno in Japan, but this is the first time a fighter has been signed globally. Jones will also serve as the first American fighter to be sponsored by the company.
Jones now stands among the likes of Tiger Woods, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant and Manny Pacquiao with a Nike Signature Line.
