Nina Ansaroff vs Rose Namajunas removed from UFC 187 card

The UFC 187 preliminary card just got one fight shorter. UFC.com is reporting that the strawweight bout between Nina Ansaroff vs. Rose Namajunas has been called off due to illness. Ansaroff is said to have come down with a flu severe enough to warrant pulling out of the fight.

UFC 187 will continue on with 11 bouts. The event, live at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, is co-headlined by a pair of title bouts. One will see middleweight kingpin Chris Weidman take on Vitor Belfort, while the other pits Daniel Cormier against Anthony Johnson for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Title.
