ONE Championship has finalized its star-studded ONE 172: Takeru vs. Rodtang lineup for global pay-per-view on Sunday, March 23. In total, five amazing World Championship battles will be featured on the card. Then, in the main event, the flyweight kickboxing super-fight everyone has been waiting for — Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Takeru Segawa.

The wait for Rodtang vs. Takeru has been long. The match was slated to happen in 2024, but an injury forced the Thai superstar off the event in Japan. A year later, it is finally time to settle the debate and see two of the most entertaining strikers compete under the bright lights.
Tawanchai Clashes With Masaaki Noiri in ONE 172’s Co-Headliner
After defending his Muay Thai crown, Tawanchai PK Saenchai remarked that he was seeking to be a two-sport champion. That chance comes at ONE 172 against Japan’s Masaaki Noiri. The two elite strikers will vie for the ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Title.

Superlek Battles Nabil Anane for Bantamweight Muay-Thai Title During ONE 172
Nabil Anane made his debut in ONE against Superlek Kiatmoo9 and was handed defeat. Since then, he has only tasted victory. After claiming the ONE Interim Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title against Nico Carrillo, he now gets a chance at redemption to unify the belts in one of the best matchups fans will see this year.
Flyweight MMA Gold at Stake in ONE 172
MMA will not be left out of the equation as Adriano Moraes and Yuya Wakamatsu meet again for the vacant ONE Flyweight MMA World Championship. The belt has been up for grabs since Demetrious Johnson’s retirement, and these two long-time rivals collide for the gold. Wakamatsu hopes to claim the title in front of his home crowd, while Moraes seeks to reclaim the throne he held for years.
Jonathan Di Bella vs. Sam-A Gaiyanghadao for Strawweight Muay Thai Belt March 23
While two-sport king Prajanchai PK Saenchai comes off of his latest defense of the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title, Jonathan Di Bella and Sam-A Gaiyanghadao meet for the ONE Interim Strawweight Kickboxing World Title. It could be the most technical match on the entire card. The talented athletes will try to steal the show with an electric pace to set up a unification match later in 2025.
Phetjeeja Fights Kana Morimoto and Rest of ONE 172 Card
The final title tilt of the night goes down in the atomweight kickboxing division. Phetjeeja has been untouchable in ONE, but Kana Morimoto is looking for an upset. Kana has a decided edge in experience and will try to lean on her kickboxing pedigree to wear gold in Japan. However, dethroning Phetjeeja is easier said than done.
The stacked lineup also features the return of John Lineker, as the Brazilian makes his kickboxing debut against former champion Hiroki Akimoto. Teen sensation Adrian Lee looks to keep his streak going in Japan. Also in action, Shinya Aoki meets rival Eduard Folayang in a clash of legends.
