The unprecedented championship slate at ONE 173 delivers elite competition across multiple weight classes and disciplines, headlined by the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title unification showdown between reigning king Superbon and interim titleholder Masaaki Noiri. The Thai striker faces Japan’s homegrown hero in what promises to be a technical masterpiece that will crown an undisputed featherweight kickboxing ruler.

Current ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Yuya Wakamatsu puts his title on the line against six-time strawweight king Joshua Pacio in a champion versus champion showdown that could produce the promotion’s newest two-division titleholder.

Two-division titleholder Christian Lee defends his ONE Lightweight MMA World Championship against undefeated Turkish contender Alibeg Rasulov in their highly anticipated rematch, while Thai megastar Rodtang Jitmuangnon battles legendary compatriot Nong-O Hama for the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship. Plus, the inaugural ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title fight between Nadaka Yoshinari and Numsurin Chor Ketwina rounds out the historic ONE 173 championship slate.

Beyond the championship action, ONE 173 features the return of three of combat sports’ biggest striking stars in compelling non-title matchups. Japanese sensation Takeru Segawa returns to action against veteran Denis Puric in a flyweight kickboxing banger, seeking to bounce back from his recent knockout loss to Rodtang.

Pound-for-pound striking great Superlek Kiatmoo9 takes on Yuki Yoza in bantamweight kickboxing action, showcasing the technical brilliance that has made him one of the sport’s most accomplished champions.

Also, former three-sport ONE World Champion Stamp Fairtex makes her long-awaited comeback after more than two years away from competition. She faces four-time K-1 Champion Kana Morimoto in atomweight kickboxing on her birthday.

ONE 173 is Full of American Star Power

The American presence at ONE 173 extends beyond Christian Lee’s lightweight title defense, as ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion Tye Ruotolo returns for his second mixed martial arts appearance against undefeated Japanese fighter Shozo Isojima in a lightweight MMA tilt.

The 22-year-old grappling phenom captured attention with his spectacular submission victory over Adrian “The Phenom” Lee in September, announcing his arrival as a legitimate MMA threat.

The historic evening will also feature the ONE Championship Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Myanmar sports icon and former two-division champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang, who resides in the United States. The 40-year-old legend becomes the third fighter inducted into the prestigious Hall of Fame, joining Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and Bibiano Fernandes in this exclusive class.
