ONE Championship Striking Stars See Explosion In Social Media Following

ONE Championship has a slate of upcoming events that will bring several of its striking stars to the forefront of the martial arts world. It is the latest elevation for kickboxing and Muay Thai on a global scale. The commitment to promoting these athletes has paid off in a big way as these stars have exploded into global stars.

On Friday, September 22, ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon will defend his title against Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE Friday Fights 34. When “The Iron Man” signed with ONE, he had just 14,000 followers on his social media profiles. After becoming a global star, he now has over 3.6 million followers.

Likewise, Stamp Fairtex has become a martial arts queen. When she debuted in ONE, she had just 2,000 followers. Now, the three-sport atomweight star has 1.4 million. Her star power will have her headlining ONE Fight Night 14 on Prime Video on Friday, September 29.

These two Thai superstars got to see their own impact on the global community this past May. ONE made their long-awaited U.S. debut in Denver, Colorado, at ONE Fight Night 10. The crowd was deafening for both athletes.

But they are certainly not the only athletes to see accelerated growth on their social media. Chingiz Allazov blitzed the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix competition to become the division’s top contender. He then captured the gold with a stunning knockout of Superbon Singha Mawynn. Today, the undisputed pound-for-pound king has 5.1 million social media followers.

The star-building of ONE is ongoing. Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak is beginning to see a similar rise as her fellow ONE stars. She now has over 500,000 following her on social media. Top striking athletes such as Superbon and Tawanchai PK Saenchai, who will meet on Friday, October 6, at ONE Fight Night 15 on Prime Video, have over 1 million fans.

Muay Thai in four-ounce gloves has been captivating for audiences around the globe. For the first time in the sport’s history, it has gained some traction in the U.S. and helped elevate both the sport and its athletes. Kickboxing has seen a similar impact with its elite matchmaking in ONE, featuring the most talent-rich division in all of combat sports — the featherweight kickboxing division.

With three incredible shows featuring the elite of the elite in kickboxing and Muay Thai coming up in the next several weeks, fans will continue to see the apex of the sport on the global stage. ONE is delivering on its promise to expand its footprint and make new stars in the striking arts. ONE’s global platform has given way to a new era for both kickboxing and Muay Thai.
