All but two fighters have made weight ahead of Friday’s ONE FC event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The card, titled ‘War of Nations’, is headlined by a Welterweight title bout between Brock Larson and Nobutatsu Suzuki.
As previously reported, Waqar Umar’s failure to gain a visa prompted compatriot Bashir Ahmad to step-up to the plate in a match-up opposite Peter Davis on two days’ notice. Ahmad will be moving up a weight class from Featherweight to Lightweight for this bout.
Andrew Leone weighed in at 58.7kg/129-lbs, exceeding the Flyweight limit of 56.7kg/4-lbs. His bout against former Shooto champ Shinichi Kojima will now be contested at Catchweight.
Sherilyn Lim who weighed in at 55.1kg/121.47-lbs, failed to make weight for her Strawweight contest against Ann Osman. As a result, the bout has been cancelled.
ONE FC 14: War of Nations will now carry a total of nine contests, with seven bouts set for the main card. The main card streams LIVE on an online pay-per-view and airs LIVE on Star Sports in Asia.
