ONE Winter Warriors 2 Results

ONE Championship’s last event of the year drops today from Singapore, featuring four former champions stepping into the ONE circle. ONE Winter Warriors 2 was pre-recorded earlier in December, with nine MMA, kickboxing, and Muay Thai fights. Live results will be posted right here for ONE Winter Warriors 2.

Main Event – Danny Kingad vs. Kairat Akhmetov

Two of the best prospects out of any country battle for a potential title shot when Danny Kingad (14-2) meets Kairat Akhmetov (27-2). Having just four losses between the two, Kingad has only lost to Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson, while Akhmetov’s losses came to Geje Eustaquio and Moraes- all former champions. Both men are ranked in the top five of the flyweight division, meaning a rematch with Moraes could await the winner.

Rest of the Card

Four Filipino fighters from Team Lakay in Baguio City are competing at ONE Winter Warriors 2: Danny Kingad, Kevin Belingon, Stephen Loman, and Jhanlo Sangiao. Loman is a former Brave CF champion, while Sangiao is the son of the founder of Team Lakay.

Undefeated Dagestani Murad Ramazonov gets his biggest test to date when he fights former champion Zebaztian Kadestam. Ramazonov has rolled through every opponent to date, finishing seven of tens wins. A win over Kadestam would put him right at the top of the queue to get a shot at champion Kiamrian Abbasov.

On the prelims, Chinese bomber Li Kaiwen fights in the last fight of his ONE contract before looking to fight elsewhere. Li has gone 9-2 in ONE, knocking out the majority of the competition.
