December will get underway with the finale of the ONE Atomweight World Grand Prix, and a ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Championship as ONE Championship brings ONE: Winter Warriors to your screens on Friday, December 3.
ONE: Winter Warriors Announced
Regian “The Immortal” Eersel will defend his gold in the night’s main event opposite Islam Murtazaev. The Russian will make his ONE debut with a 20-4 professional record as he tries to make a splash in his first bout on the global stage.
Stamp Fairtex and Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat take center stage in the co-main event for their meeting in the ONE Atomweight World Grand Prix Finals. The former two-sport World Champion continues her ascent up the mixed martial arts ranks as she inches closer to a title shot. But Phogat will be competing with the support of India behind her as she will look to utilize her superior grappling to punch her ticket to a meeting against Angela Lee.
But the fun certainly does not stop there. Four additional bouts help to line the card, including three mixed martial arts contests.
Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev and Timofey Nastyukhin will run their 2018 meeting back as the top-ranked lightweights look to make a statement in a revamped division following Ok Rae Yoon’s title win earlier this year.
In the heavyweight division, Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida and Kang Ji Won will also be looking to show out in a major way to send a message to the top of the division. An impressive victory for either man could mean a title shot looms in 2022.
Flyweights Yuya Wakamatsu and Hu Yong will open the evening with a three-round war.
But not to be outdone, ONE Super Series kickboxing standouts Hiroki Akimoto and Qiu Jianliang go toe-to-toe in a huge bantamweight battle. Jianliang will make his big debut against the #3-ranked contender in the division and look to start his ONE tenure off with a bang.
