Live from Universal Studios Florida, the PFL ushers in a brand new year with a stacked card packed to the brim with top featherweight and welterweight talent for their freshman 2025 show, PFL 1. In the main event, Jason Jackson locks horns with Andrey Koreshkov, while a featherweight tussle between Jesus Pinedo and Ádám Borics serves as the penultimate match of the evening.
PFL 1 Main Event
Embarking on an eight-contest win streak from 2019 to 2024, Jackson had cemented his place as one of the top welterweights on the planet by starching the seemingly-untouchable Yaroslav Amosov to win the Bellator 170-lb strap. He then proved himself as a legitimate force in the PFL by securing the Champion of Champions Super Belt against Ray Cooper III in Saudi Arabia last year. However, his momentum was momentarily halted after dropping his Bellator title to the streaking Ramazan Kuramagomedov.
PFL 1 Co-Main Event
Taking a hiatus from competition for the entirety of 2024, Pinedo returns to continue his reign of domination over the PFL’s 145-lb division after winning the 2023 championship. 7-1 in his past eight fights, the Peruvian has built up a sterling reputation in the organization as a thrilling power puncher with three knockouts.
Rebounding from only the second loss of his 21-bout career, Borics logged a superb unanimous decision victory over Enrique Barzola in his last smart cage appearance last year. With a brand new slate heading into 2025, “The Kid” is looking to make a statement in the first round of the tournament.

More Bouts On the PFL 1 Main Card
Rounding out the PFL 1 main card, extremely late replacement Joseph Luciano battles four-time NCAA wrestling standout Logan Storley, and UFC alum Jeremy Kennedy faces the undefeated Movlid Khaybulaev.
