PFL 1 for the 2025 season is here! Tonight, and throughout the next month, Stage 19 of Universal Orlando, formerly part of the fabled Nickelodeon Studios wing of the property, serves as the venue for the quarterfinal phase of the PFL World Tournament.
This evening, welterweights and featherweights meet inside the SmartCage for their quarterfinal matchups. Live coverage kicks off at 7:30 ET/ 4:30 pm PT for the pre-fight show on ESPN+, with the first fight beginning at just past 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT. The countdown show is also available on YouTube tonight.
Late card action follows at 10 pm ET/ 7 pm PT on ESPN2. After a rocky weigh-in period on Wednesday morning, PFL 1 will see only eight fights contested tonight, with both planned tournament alternate contests being postponed after fighters were rebooked to the tournament proper.
Magomed Umalatov Scratched from PFL 1, Eliminated From Tournament After Exceeding Weight
In case you missed the news from the weigh-in, Magomed Umalatov (17-1 MMA), who was considered to be the top fighter in the bracket at 170 lbs and who was originally scheduled to face off against Logan Storley (16-3 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) tonight on the late card of PFL 1, was eliminated from the eight-man field upon missing weight.
In Umalatov’s stead, Storley now awaits a contest between Joseph Luciano (10-2 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) this evening. All fights tonight are an advertised three rounds at five minutes per round.
PFL 1 Main Event
At the top of the bill tonight, you’ll watch a welterweight contest between Jason Jackson (18-5 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) and Andrey Koreshkov (28-5 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025).
PFL 1 Co-Main Event
Immediately beforehand, the co-main event of the evening is a featherweight quarterfinal matching Jesus Pinedo (23-6-1 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) with Adam Borics (19-2 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025).
Rest of the Card
Aside from the aforementioned Storley vs. Luciano quarterfinal, the late card of PFL 1 also features a featherweight showdown pitting Jeremy Kennedy (19-5, 0-0 PFL 2025) against Movlid Khaybulaev (21-0-1, 1 NC MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025).
