Kicking off its first iteration in 2025, the PFL travels to Orlando, Florida, bringing with it a host of entertaining featherweight and welterweight bouts for its blockbuster PFL 1 event. Headlining the show, former Bellator champions Jason Jackson and Andrey Koreshkov come to blows in an interesting matchup between two veterans of the sport. Also, previous PFL 145-lb title holder Jesus Pinedo looks to pick up his fourth consecutive win against Ádám Borics.

Catapulting himself into MMA stardom overnight by dismantling the then 27-0 Yaroslav Amosov, Jackson swiftly became one of the most popular fighters on the roster. He then added even more to his resume by winning the PFL vs. Bellator Champion of Champions Super Belt opposite Ray Cooper III last February. He ended up losing his strap to another undefeated European, Ramazan Kuramagomedov, at Bellator Champions Series 3 four months later.
In the annals of Bellator’s 170-lb history, Koreshkov has cemented his place with several amazing records, such as most fights and most wins in the division. He also has claimed company gold on one occasion at Bellator 140 by defeating Douglas Lima, defending it one time before losing it to Lima in a rematch more than a year later. Taking on Jackson in the quarterfinals of the 2025 PFL Welterweight Tournament, “The Spartan” can start another conquest toward a major title with a win over a fellow seasoned competitor.
PFL 1 Co-Main Event
Standing exactly six feet tall, Pinedo is easily one of the most physically intimidating names in the PFL’s featherweight class. He also boasts some of the top punching power in the organization, with his past seven victories ending by way of knockout.
Across his 21-fight career, Borics has only tasted twice, both times being to former Bellator champions Darrion Caldwell and Patrício Pitbull. Coming off of a spectacular triumph over Enrique Barzola at PFL 3 (2024), the Hungarian representative will cross paths with arguably the hardest hitting name he has ever come across in Pinedo.
