PFL 2 Weigh-In Results: Bout Order Shuffling Continues for Second Straight Week

PFL 2 is upon us. Late night Friday, Stage 19 of Universal Orlando, the former home of Nickelodeon Studios, will play host to the second of four quarterfinal cards from Donn Davis‘ promotion.

Due to changes in the bout order, Friday’s event will start later in the evening than what had been originally planned. Early card bouts begin at 9 pm ET/ 6 pm PT, with the late card kicking off at 11 pm ET/ 8 pm PT. Inside the United States, tomorrow’s card will be seen gavel-to-gavel on ESPN+ for the early card and ESPN2 for the late card.

If you’re reading this in Canada, DAZN will carry the card live from beginning to finish. Just as was the case a week ago tonight, this weekend’s event will feature eight fights. Bantamweights and women’s flyweights will take to the SmartCage for quarterfinal action.

Planned Headliner Scrubbed Again as PFL 2 Gets Another Main Event

Earlier today, the fighters due to compete tomorrow took to the scales for the official weigh-in window ahead of this evening’s ceremonial face-offs.  Postponements have been a constant story in the run-up to the Orlando card this coming weekend.

As of the official weigh-ins today, nine different fights have been scrubbed before the show, including the intended main event for tomorrow night. Earlier this week, Leandro Higo (23-6 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) was to square off against Josh Rettinghouse (20-5 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) in the headlining bout, but the latter wasn’t medically cleared to fight.

In Rettinghouse’s stead, Higo will now fight Marcirley Alves (12-4 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) in the headliner. Both fighters came in on-target at the scales today, with Higo clocking in at 135.6 lbs, while Alves weighed in at 136 even.

Co-Main Event Cleared for Takeoff After Thursday’s Weigh-In

The co-main event for tomorrow’s card will proceed without an issue at the scales in the aftermath of the official weigh-in window today. Both Liz Carmouche (22-8 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) and Ilara Joanne (12-9 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) will begin their quest for this year’s championship after having weighed in at 126 lbs even and 124.8 lbs, respectively.
