The last major championship event for the PFL took place at the Metropolis of Lyon over the weekend in PFL Champions Series 4. Though the main card for the event only featured just four fights, it managed to deliver on bevy of action, including three fantastic finishes. In the main event, Vadim Nemkov proved that he is one of the preeminent heavyweights on the planet by throttling promotional juggernaut Renan Ferreira.
In the penultimate match of the night, Cris Cyborg cemented her position as the best at women’s featherweight by decimating Sara Collins. Also, Belgian sensation Patrick Habirora and UFC veteran Taylor Lapilus both logged tremendous showings in the SmartCage, with the former starching hometown hero Kevin Jousset in the first round.

PFL Champions Series 4: Taylor Lapilus def. Liam Gittins
Taylor Lapilus
Lapilus’ current win streak now extends to four in a row after PFL Champions Series 4. He has not lost a bout since his encounter with Farid Basharat in January 2024 at UFC Vegas 84, making it his only setback over the past seven years.
His PFL record now stands at a perfect 2-0
Liam Gittins
Gittins’ appearance as PFL Champions Series 4 served as his debut in the company. His loss to Lapilus brought his previous six-bout winning streak to an end.
He is a former bantamweight champion under the Cage Warriors banner, where he defended his strap once.
PFL Champions Series 4: Patrick Habirora def. Kevin Jousset
Patrick Habirora
Habirora’s triumph over Jousset is his eighth straight win as an undefeated professional. It’s also his fourth consecutive victory in the PFL.
All but one of his post-amateur wins have come inside the distance, with six ending in the first round.
Kevin Jousset
His loss to Habirora at PFL Champions Series 4 was his third in a row, with two of those defeats stemming via finish. He has not gotten his hand raised inside the cage since a 2023 victory over Song Kenan during his time in the UFC .
He is now 3-3 in his last six tilts.
PFL Champions Series 4: Cris Cyborg def. Sara Collins
Cris Cyborg
She stood as the most tenured fighter on the entire card, both preliminary and main, with 31 professional matches. Her submission win over Collins was her first victory by tap out since besting Arlene Blencowe back in 2020 at Bellator 249.
Her current win streak now stands at nine. She has now won a featherweight title in three different major promotions, including the aforementioned Bellator and the UFC.
Sara Collins
Collins’ loss to Cyborg at PFL Champions Series 4 is the first of her entire combat sports career. She had stopped three of her last six opponents by submission.
Her appearance at PFL Champions Series 4 was also her first bout of 2025.
PFL Champions Series 4: Vadim Nemkov def. Renan Ferreira
Vadim Nemkov
Nemkov’s win over Ferreira is his third straight win since returning to the heavyweight division after almost 10 years. His current winning streak now stands at 14.
He has now won his last three fights by submission and is the first former Bellator fighter to capture the PFL 265-lb belt.
Renan Ferreira
Ferreira has now lost his last two contests in a row, with both of them ending by stoppage. He is now 3-2 in his last five bouts
His PFL record now stands at 7-3 with three no-contests.
