PFL Europe 1: Doumbe vs. Chamsoudinov results

On Thursday in Paris, we have the first event of the upcoming PFL Europe season. We will witness matchups in both welterweight and lightweight tournaments.

Main Event:

The main event will feature a clash between two representatives from France. The exceptional kickboxer and former two-time GLORY champion, Cédric Doumbé (5-0), will compete. His opponent will be the undefeated Baysangur Chamsoudinov (7-0).

Following his spectacular nine-second knockout of Jordan Zebo at the Zenith Arena in Paris on September 30th, a crowd-voted number one MMA crowd of 2023, Doumbe makes his return. The fight resonated throughout the MMA world, signaling to everyone that the French superstar is poised to become the next global sensation. Now, with a sold-out and high-energy crowd at the Accor Arena, Doumbe has the chance to solidify his position at the pinnacle of the MMA world when he faces Chamsoudinov.

Co-main event

In the co-main event, Abdoul Abdouraguimov (17-1), born in Dagestan and also representing the host country, will compete. With numerous achievements under his belt, including winning the championship title in Brave CF and two belts in ARES FC, Abdouraguimov faces Jack Grant (19-7), a former Bellator fighter and a contender for the Cage Warriors title (losing a championship fight to Ian Garry).

Rest of the card

The previous season’s lightweight champion, Jakub Kaszuba (11-0), is once again part of the eight-fighter lineup vying for a prize of $100,000. He will face Kane Mousah (14-5) in the quarterfinals, a fighter we have seen in Bellator in recent years.

In the welterweight tournament, Tomasz Łangowski (6-4) will compete against Albanian Florim Zendeli (7-1-1).
